Transforming a Leading Manufacturer with an Interim Marketing Executive

Retail & Manufacturing

A $1B electronics manufacturing sourcing company was stuck with a misaligned marketing leader, stalled strategy, and a team that no longer trusted the direction. Intuitive stepped in with an interim marketing executive to stabilize the work, rebuild communication, and redesign the marketing organization. The result: a modernized marketing leadership role, a restructured team, and a permanent leader in place who is now driving clearer strategy, stronger execution, and measurable business impact.

A $1B electronics manufacturing sourcing company faced significant marketing challenges due to misalignment with their existing marketing leader. This lack of strategic direction disrupted company communication, work delivery, and team trust.
Recognizing the urgency, the leadership team needed to move the business forward while maintaining ongoing initiatives and preserving company culture without an immediate dismissal of the current leader.
Intuitive swiftly identified an interim leader to assess the situation and understand ongoing issues. A strategic off-site meeting with the executive leadership team was conducted to grasp the challenges, evaluate risks, and develop an action plan to realign the team.
In the first week, the interim leader, working closely with the executive leadership team, developed a communications plan and identified essential resources for the transformation phase. Intuitive supported the transition, managed staff fallout, and collaborated with the interim leader to create an organizational plan.

Together with the client’s leadership team, Intuitive and the interim leader designed a new role essential to the executive leadership team. This redefined position elevated marketing strategy and outlined a modern marketing team structure necessary to drive business results.
Intuitive identified designers and project managers to backfill team fallout. The interim leader was eventually hired full-time and has played a pivotal role in driving business strategy and organizational processes, significantly improving alignment and impact within the marketing organization.
